A big weekend.

On Saturday Canto was 2nd in Baby Sweepstake and Baby of Breed, his dad Diablo took Best of Breed and then went on to take Best In Group and Runnerup Best In Show. It is a little unclear who had the most fun in the ring, the dogs or Scott and Michael but it seems that they all needed to go to the beach after to cool down. Canto loved his first swim.

Sunday Piper took Baby Sweepstake and Baby of Breed, I think this makes it 2 all. Diablo went all the way for a Best In Show.

Puppy Watching

I was late for work this morning watching the dogs in the main yard, I'm running Splash, Deago, Canto and Piper together. Splash lays around and grumbles when puppies annoy her, Deago is playing with them and chasing them sound trees and Canto is so cheeky and runs up and bites his face and runs off so he'll chase him. It's just amazing to watch this big tuff 4 year old stud do be so great with the boys. Cath

Canto over Piper for baby puppy.

In his first show he was a wiggle worm on the stack but great on the heel with no breaking of gait.

Canto flies to Canberra

We are trilled that Canto has gone to stay with Catherine Loft and hope that she will have lots of fun with him. We just know that his cheeky, playful nature will make him hard to resist.

About Canto

He is named after the Lamborghini Diablo successor and is bred & owned by Lin and Steve Burger of Runningdog kennels in South Australia. Canto will be campaigned in NSW by us at Koolrunnings.

Born 26 September 2008, Canto is one of 10 puppies born to Misty & Diablo. Canto will make his show ring debut in January 09 and more pictures will be updated shortly.

Pictured at 8 weeks, Canto is a little Diablo Junior with some added features from Misty and a lovely all round package. Showing great show potential with a happy attitude and wagging tail set perfectly like Daddy, Canto also displays a soft pretty head piece trademark of Koolrunnings with a dark eye, lovely topline and outline. We are excited to watch him grow up.
